When I first found out Michael Jackson passed away I was on the way to the laundrymat=/ It was my first time doing laundry by myself in forever ! I asked keyona to come with me, but the bitch was out Portsmouth [shout out to relll woooop!] Anyways, me and my mom were listening to the radio and the man said, "We have just gotten news that Michael Jackson, COULD have died today, if the news is true the world has lost a true icon." Then keysss called me about ten minutes later to confirm the news. It's not often you find an artist that so many generations can relate to and enjoy. I mean I would most def rather listen to Beat it, then Dance with my father by Luther Vandross=/ He was full of so much talent and had so much compassion for others. His aura was incrediable and though I never was lucky enough to see him in concert or person I could feel his dedication to his work in every word he sang and see it in every spin he hit. I don't wanna take up anymore space so R.I.P Michael you will be missed .

Remember when britney spears presented michael jackson a birthday award , but he thought it was artist of the millenium ? wellll, the nigga deseverved it . aint no other artist who brings that much heat to the stage , sang that great as a kid, and can be thatt flyyy ! well I heard the news in the portsmouth tunnel on z104 , at first they were like he was in the hospital than, I thought he was gonna be fine , but 10 minutes later , I was crying my eyes out at the news . Unlike many of these "new" fans , I been about michael , me and vickkk wanted to go to a concert ! that was one of our three things to accomplish . well even though i never witnessed a concert , got a fly red leather jacket, learned to moonwalk, or wave with a glitter glove =/ I am honored to live in an era where such a brillant artist existed . Not only did his dedication and stride make him to produce mad hits and create a new genre of music [pop], and gain popularity but he also gave back. Guiness's book of world records said that he gave more money to charity then any other popstar. His main goal was to touch and inspire people and help heal the world, well michael, you can rest cause you did . I may not have been old enough to get the effect of the 8os phenomon . but I witnessed enough to know he was most def the greatest performer of allll time .
